This patch rejects malformed metadata in JSON and advanced CSV imports with a clear validation error instead of a PHP TypeError. It retains the import recovery, preview, unsaved-edit and cleanup improvements from Free 1.2.1.

The matching browser demo retains the approved interface and practice behavior. It uses fictional data and browser-tab storage; it does not run WordPress or connect a store.

Free 1.2.2 retains API 2 and works with the currently distributed Pro 1.1.3 add-on. No Pro installer or WordPress.org submission is included in this publication. Follow install.txt and replace Free files without uninstalling.

The Free archive is qualified with official Plugin Check 2.1.0 and focused native malformed-import regressions. Browser checks cover the matching desktop/mobile demo; unchanged interface and prior native workflows retain their separately recorded qualification. These checks do not guarantee compatibility with every WordPress installation or replace WordPress.org review.
