Start with a published group
Activate WooCommerce and create a published FAQ group. In CatalogFAQ, open Product FAQs. Search for a product by name or SKU, choose it, and select the groups you want to assign.
You can also assign groups through product categories and tags in Free. Keep the scope narrow at first so you can check the result.
Choose the placement your theme needs
Classic product templates
Check the product’s FAQ tab. Some themes customize or remove WooCommerce tabs, so confirm the actual storefront result.
Block product templates
Add the Catalog Product FAQ block to your Single Product template in the Site Editor, then save the template. Assignment alone does not add this block to your theme.
Verify the scope
- Save the product assignments.
- Open the intended product while signed out and check the groups and answer order.
- Open an unrelated product to make sure the answers do not appear there.
- Check a product with several matching categories or tags.
If nothing appears, check publication status, group membership, assignment, and theme placement before changing more settings.
When conditional rules help
Pro adds rules, product-specific answer wording, exceptions and coverage reports. Use these when manual assignments become difficult to maintain. Preview a rule against a named product before applying it.
Free still includes direct product, category and tag assignments. Pro is not required simply to show FAQs on a WooCommerce product.
Check the published page while signed out, including its mobile layout.
